Controller: Blender Holdings LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("DJGO," "we," "us," "our") Version: 2026-06-23 (draft) · Effective date: TBD
This policy explains what personal data DJGO collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). DJGO serves Texas venues and the DJs they book.
1. The short version
- We collect the minimum needed to run DJ booking and payouts: account and contact details, role data, venue and gig records, and references to Stripe accounts.
- We do not collect or store Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, full bank account numbers, or W-9 data. Stripe collects and holds that information directly for payment processing and tax reporting.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
- You have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your data.
2. What we collect
From operators (Owners, Entertainment Directors, Venue Managers): name, email, phone, the venues and groups you are a member of, your role, and your actions in the app (for audit and security).
From DJs: name, email, phone, performer profile (photo, bio, genres, links), the gigs you are booked for, and a reference to your Stripe Connected Account.
From venues: business name, address (which must be in Texas), and a reference to the venue's Stripe Connected Account and connected payment source.
Held by Stripe, not by us: legal name, date of birth, SSN/ITIN, bank account and routing numbers, and tax forms. We store only the Stripe account identifiers, never the underlying details.
Automatically: basic technical data (IP address, device/browser, log and security events) needed to operate and protect the service. DJGO does not run client-side analytics or behavioral tracking on DJs.
3. How we use it
To create and manage accounts; to let operators book DJs and instruct payouts; to display gigs, payments, and reputation derived from gig records; to issue tax reporting through Stripe; to secure the platform and maintain audit logs; to communicate about your account; and to comply with legal and tax-record obligations.
We process this data to provide the service you have requested, to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform, and to meet legal obligations.
4. How money data is handled
Payments are processed by Stripe. When a payout is instructed, funds move from the venue's connected source, through Stripe, to the DJ's Stripe Connected Account. DJGO does not hold or custody funds and does not store the sensitive banking or tax identifiers involved — those live in Stripe under Stripe's privacy and security controls.
5. Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing, identity/KYC, payouts, and 1099 tax reporting.
- Service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, database, email, SMS), under contracts limiting their use of the data to providing those services. These currently include Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Twilio.
- Within your organization — operators in your group can see the venue, gig, and payout data relevant to their role; DJs see their own gigs and payments.
- Legal — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. `[ATTORNEY REVIEW]` Confirm subprocessor list and TDPSA "sale"/"targeted advertising" definitions are correctly addressed.
6. Your rights under the TDPSA
If you are a Texas resident, you may: confirm whether we process your data and access it; correct inaccuracies; delete your data; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of any sale or targeted advertising (we do neither). To exercise a right, email privacy@djgo.app. We will verify your request and respond within the time the TDPSA requires. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision; if an appeal is denied you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
Some data is retained despite a deletion request where the law requires it — for example, transaction and tax records are kept for the period required for tax purposes (generally up to 7 years).
7. Security
We use role-based access controls, database row-level security for tenant isolation, encrypted transport, and audit logging on sensitive actions. Sensitive financial and identity data is held by Stripe under its own security program. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your data and to notify you of incidents as required by law.
8. Children
DJGO is not directed to children and is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted in the platform and, where appropriate, emailed. The version and date at the top reflect the current policy.
